Empowering the people who empower others
Creating safer, more inclusive spaces starts with how we show up for the people we support.
Drawing from eight years of community-based experience, Employ to Empower offers practical, trauma-informed training that helps teams strengthen relationships, navigate challenging situations, and support people with greater confidence and compassion.
Whether you’re looking to build a shared foundation or dive deeper through hands-on learning, we offer two training options tailored to your team’s needs.

Bring Inclusive Entrepreneurship to Your Community
Trauma-informed entrepreneurship programming designed for people facing barriers to traditional employment.
Proven programming. Your staff. Your community.
Want to empower people in your community to explore self-employment, but aren’t sure how to build and run an entrepreneurship program? We can support you start small and train your team to deliver it without us.
What is Founder’s Hub ?
Founder’s Hub is Employ to Empower’s (ETE) five-step partnership that helps organizations assess demand for entrepreneurship programming and train their existing staff to deliver it.
We share the curriculum, facilitator resources, coaching, and implementation support developed through eight years of working with more than 650 entrepreneurs living with barriers.
Who is it for?
Founder’s Hub is for community-serving organizations whose members have business ideas but lack accessible support to take the next step.
It is designed for organizations willing to invest staff time in learning and delivering the program themselves –not those seeking ETE to run it indefinitely.
What to Expect: Our Five Step Approach
Step 1: Check Whether It’s a Good Fit
- Ask community members whether they want entrepreneurship programming.
- Assess organizational readiness before committing to a larger rollout.
- Use findings to decide whether to proceed.
Step 2: Watch How It’s Done
- Observe a real entrepreneurship class from start to finish.
- Learn how ETE selects participants.
- See ETE’s facilitation approach in practice.
Step 3: Learn to Do It Yourself
- Receive lesson plans, facilitator guides, activities, and participant resources.
- Undertake staff training and guided practice.
- Access coaching, office hours, and troubleshooting.
Step 4: Run Your First Classes With Support
- Lead classes with your own staff.
- Receive selected classroom support and check-ins.
- Use recruitment guidance, rollout planning, templates, and evaluation tools.
Step 5: Keep Getting Better
- Receive curriculum updates through annual licensing.
- Continue developing internal facilitation and entrepreneurship expertise.
